KindMind Counseling

Welcome!

You’ve taken an important step by being here. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for positive change, I’m here to offer a safe and supportive space where you can explore, heal, and grow. My counseling approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and tailored to your unique needs.

A young woman sitting on the floor, holding three small boxes labeled 'believe in' and 'happiness'. She is smiling, with toys and stuffed animals around her, including a knitted smiley face pillow, a plush pig wearing a sequined red hat, a green crocodile, a pink fuzzy ball, a rainbow-colored bead maze, and other small colorful toys.

I provide therapy for individuals, children, teens, and families experiencing a range of challenges, including:

  • Emotional and mental health concerns: anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, and mood regulation difficulties

  • Behavioral challenges: defiance, oppositional behaviors, impulsivity, and difficulty following routines or rules

  • Neurodevelopmental support: ADHD, Autism Level 1, executive functioning difficulties, social skills challenges

  • Relationship and family dynamics: communication struggles, conflict resolution, parent-child challenges

  • Life transitions and adjustment issues: coping with changes, grief, and major life events

I work to help clients understand their patterns, develop practical coping strategies, and build skills that support success at home, school, work, and in relationships. Therapy is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each person’s unique needs.

How I Can Help

I believe in meeting clients where they are and honoring their unique experiences. My therapeutic style is:

  • Person-centered and grounded in empathy

  • Strength-based, focusing on your resilience

  • Integrative, blending evidence-based approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy

  • Collaborative, with you as an active partner in the process

  • Creatively engaging, incorporating activities that make therapy meaningful and fun, such as:

    • Art: coloring, painting, crafts, slime-making, bracelet-making

    • Interactive play: video games on the Nintendo Switch, board games, card games

These creative approaches help clients express themselves, build skills, and connect in ways that traditional talk therapy alone sometimes cannot. My goal is to provide a safe space where growth feels possible, enjoyable, and tailored to each individual.
